The BlackBerry DTEK60 — a smartphone that obviously exists in the way it does because retailers have been offering it up for pre-orders and promoting its specs way before it was sensibly time to do so — is all set for launch. We just still don’t know when.
Well, another leak has popped up, this one courtesy of Cachys Blog in Germany. There’s a poster for retailer Media Markt showing off the features of the DTEK60, including the 5.5-inch quad HD AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 21-megapixel camera, 32GB of storage and USB Type-C. We do have a rumored price of €599, but no release date from this particular reveal.
Well, a follow-up post from AreaMobile simply dropped the date down for the German launch of the DTEK60 for Tuesday, October 25. It’s not immediately clear if that’s a pre-order or sales date, but it’s nice to have some sort of idea about something happening when.
Retailers NCIX and B&H Photo have published, then removed product listings for the DTEK60.
